Privacy Policy: Sovba: High-Ticket Importer
Last updated: October 27, 2026
Sovba: High-Ticket Importer (the "App") is a Shopify app made by Sovba ("we", "us"). It copies product pages from your suppliers' websites into your Shopify store. This policy explains what the App collects, why, and what happens to it.
The short version
- The App does not access your customers, your orders or any customer personal data.
- It keeps only what it needs to work: your store's address, an access key given by Shopify, your imports and your settings.
- Everything the App keeps about your store is deleted when you uninstall it, as Shopify requires.
- What the App sends to your store (products, photos, documents, descriptions) belongs to you and stays in your store.
What the App collects
Your store. When you install the App, Shopify gives it your store's address (for example your-store.myshopify.com) and an access key that lets the App act on your store within the permissions you approved. The App asks for these permissions only: products, files, inventory, publications (to make products available on your Online Store), store locations (read), themes (read), and colour entries (metaobjects) used for colour swatches.
Your imports. For each product page you ask the App to read, it keeps the link of the supplier page, what it read on that page (titles, tabs, tables, variants, prices, SKUs, links to photos, videos and documents), the texts it wrote, the changes you made to the tabs, the date, and the product it created in your store.
Supplier changes. Once a week, the App opens again the supplier page of each product it sent to your store, and keeps the changes it finds (a price, a SKU, a variant, stock, a retired product, a document, the text of a tab), with their date and whether you marked them as reviewed. It also reads the prices of these products in your store, to tell you when one is below the supplier's price; it never changes them.
Your settings. Your choices on the Settings page of the App.
Your plan. Your subscription is handled by Shopify. The App reads which plan you have chosen and counts your imports for the current billing cycle. The App never sees your payment details.
What the App does not collect. The App does not access your customers, your orders, your staff accounts, or any personal data about your shoppers. It does not use cookies or trackers on your storefront.
Why it is used
Only to provide the App: read the supplier pages you choose, prepare each product for your review, send it to your store when you click to send it, show the required components and the supplier tabs on your product pages, tell you what changed at your suppliers, apply your plan's limits, and answer you if you contact us. We do not sell or rent your data, and we do not use it for advertising.
Who processes it
- Shopify, which runs your store, your subscription and the App's access to your store.
- Fly.io, which hosts the App and its database, in the United States.
- Anthropic, whose AI model reads the content of the supplier pages you choose and writes the titles, descriptions and FAQ. It receives the content of the supplier's product page, not data about your store's customers. Anthropic does not use this content to train its models.
How long it is kept
Your imports, the supplier changes found and your settings are kept while the App is installed, so you can find and reopen them. When you uninstall the App, its access key is deleted at once, and Shopify then asks the App to delete everything it keeps about your store, which it does. The products, photos, documents and texts already sent to your store stay in your store: they are yours.
Your rights
You can see and delete your imports in the App at any time (Imports, then Delete import). To get a copy of what the App keeps about your store, or to have it deleted before you uninstall, write to us. The App also answers Shopify's data requests on behalf of your customers, although it keeps no data about them.
If you are in the European Union, the United Kingdom, California or another place with data protection laws, you have the rights those laws give you, such as access, correction and deletion. Write to us to use them.
Security
The App runs over HTTPS only. Its access to your store is limited to the permissions you approved. Access keys are stored on the App's server and never shown in the App's pages.
Changes
If we change this policy, we update the date at the top of this page.
